Post by specmod1 »

I did updates, got this in the window? should i say no or yes? is there bugs? where there be more bugs?

I noticed this on Crunchbang, it's fine. As far as I worked out, it's to better optimize the boot up if it's a desktop install. I've had no issues saying yes.

I answered yes on LMDE 64bit when it came up and it's been fine.

I answered "yes" to the option, as well. There have been no unusual effects on any of my systems thus far.
Current hardware: a Dell OptiPlex 3010 desktop, a Dell Inspiron 531 desktop, and a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop.
Current OS: LMDE 3

A general caution
Usually there is little problem accepting replacement/updated files, but..

Sometimes when you use a newer (developer) script/replacement file than the one that is currently working on the computer, there can be a problem with your user login
