Solved: Debian Mint XFCE Installer won`t read partitions

Title says it all. I click refresh partitions and nothing happens except a small window briefly appears and then disappears. No matter how I set up my partitions when I edit with gparted I get no joy once I return to the Read Partitions Section of the installer. Obviously if the installer can`t read the partitions I can`t install. Any suggestions would be appreciated as to how to get by this issue. Thanks in advance.

Restarted the dvd and the partitions showed up. Cheers
