I just had to say it! :) :mrgreen:

I've switched my main server/desktop comp from the aging linux mint 7 setup (which was working JUST FINE from the time the 7 was released) to LMDE and I am constantly shocked by the incredible responsiveness and overall speed and good looks of the LMDE...

Windows is extremely fast after a fresh install. If you want to make it stay that way: - don't use it.

Glad you are enjoying LMDE so much.

Basically, LMDE is a normal Debian 6 installation, but with all the work done by Mint.

That's what LMDE is: Debian extra cheese, extra onions.

If you've got gas, leave the onions out, add more cheese. :lol:
