Gfxboot and GRUB splashscreans.
I do not like the Gfxboot and GRUB splashscreans. Is there a way so it just has the generic GRUB screen? (Like Ubuntu has)

If this is Celena onwards (or did it begin with Cassandra - don't remember) comment out this line in /etc/boot/grub/menu.lst
You may also comment out this line
