Gfxboot and GRUB splashscreans.

Post by chris122380 »

I do not like the Gfxboot and GRUB splashscreans. Is there a way so it just has the generic GRUB screen? (Like Ubuntu has)

If this is Celena onwards (or did it begin with Cassandra - don't remember) comment out this line in /etc/boot/grub/menu.lst

Code: Select all

gfxmenu=/etc/grub/message.mint
You may also comment out this line

Code: Select all

color cyan/blue white/blue
