Ooooh goody, another pointless "which is better" thread with no definitive answer, merely personal taste. I can't wait for the next one between Mint 11 and Ubuntu 11.04, I hear Mint 11 has been working out a lot recently, the diet has been going well but Ubuntu 11.04 has been working on it's stamina so it should be a close run thing for the title.

No one appeared to have tested Ubuntu 11.04 on netbooks!
If Clem and the team don't do that with the forthcoming LM 11, they deserve to be taken out to the woodshed! I'd hate to see a desktop freeze. For some reason, 11.04 runs like molasses even on old hardware!
