OK, you asked for it - here's something traditional but with a bit of modernization:

Still on the road, grabbing a little internet by wifi when I can. Had two trips through tornado-ravaged Alabama last week, omygosh. I wish we could have stayed and helped out there!

Thai Oratai is beautiful. Saw her once. And thailand? Just like any other place - it has it's good and bad. The beaches suck when compared to California, however.

Enterprise is well south of where most of the damage was done. The Southern part of the state was largely spared.

You can post pictures in this forum. There is no problem as long as they are not offensive.
You can see a lot of pictures here in former postings.
There are two ways that you can add a picture:
1) Click on Upload attachment below and add a picture that you have in some folder or your desktop.

Cool! OK, as an American ex-patriot living in Bangkok for the last few years, I've seen a lot of interesting things. the most interesting would be the "changing of the government" ritual, known to the rest of the world as a "coup." Thailand averages one coup every four years, and we are due for one now. Anyway, here's a couple of pictures from the last one:

Tanks rolling downtown the night of the coup:

Image

the next day - a tank standing guard in front of Government House (the national capital). This was just one of about 20 tanks.
Image

Soldiers walking the streets to keep the peace. People went about their business. I went to work the morning after the coup.
Image

And no shots fired and no one was killed! Pretty cool, huh? LOL
