I've recently installed LM 9 Fluxbox on my work desktop which I really like for its speed
Using the default file manager Thunar, I noticed I couldn't access my other partitions
I had to install PCmanFM so I could access my files from another partition
Is there a way to tweak Thunar to access the same partitions on the same hard disk?
Cheers!
Update:
Thunar can access the other partitions on my hard disk, it just doesn't have the shortcuts on the left panel
I was able to access the other partitions by going to the file system then in the media folder
File System
/media/disk
/media/disk-1
Thunar version I have is 1.0.1 and PCmanFM is 0.5.2
These partitions were only visible to Thunar after I mounted them using PCmanFM
I also noticed when I created a bookmark in PCmanFM it would also register in Thunar
After rebooting, Thunar could no longer view the partitions
I remounted them from PCmanFM before they could be viewed from Thunar
Is there a way to mount the partitions from Thunar?
[solved] how do i access other partitions using thunar?

Re: how do i access other partitions using thunar?
Updated Thunar to 1.1.1, it now has the partition shortcuts on the left
I can now mount my partitions using Thunar
I still miss having multiple tabs from nautilus
on a side note:
I also have dropbox installed via nautilus, whats great is that files i move in the dropbox folder with thunar
will also update the dropbox in nautilus. I have yet to figure out how dropbox will integrate with thunar.
cheers!
