Wake Laptop From Suspend Using Any Key

Currently, I can only wake my HP laptop by pressing the flashing power button. How can I get it to wake by moving the mouse or pressing a key instead?

My understanding of suspend (standby in Win) is that the computer is "off" except for the RAM getting a trickle of power to retain information... Conventional keys on the keyboard and the mouse don't function when the computer is off... In short, I don't think what you are interested in doing is possible from "suspend" condition... works great if the computer is in screen-saver mode though...

You have to set up such things in the BIOS I think. My HP laptop wakes up fine by pressing a keyboard or mouse button.
