Search add-on for browsers

Hi All.. id like to make a suggestion.. it would be great if there was a way to add the mint search in the browser search window.. somewhere i read that doing a google search using the search box on the mint home page helps linuxmint.. i use it when i can or remember.. and to be honest.. it's not very practicle to move away from the page your at to the mint page to do a search.. but if it was an option to make that the default search selection in the search bar (just like adding any other search engine) it would be great.. i remember ALONG time ago there was a way to add search providers other than those that are listed when you select manage search engine in firefox for example, but alas.. i can;t remember how or if it still an option..

ok.. DUH.. there is an extension for Firefox so all you have to do is right click over the search box on the page and just add ... this makes it so much easier to help linuxmint and not have to remember or have to move away from the page your at... NOW.. to find a way to do it in Chrome..... but maybe this can be added by default in an update or in the next release... im sure we here that use mint do not mind helping out...
