(Solved)Mint Update says dpkg was interrupted WONT UPDATE!!!

Keep getting this error=

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Tried this: "sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/* -vf" - DID NOT WORK

Cleared the packages but when I re-tried the update it came right back... Any Ides??

Tried changing servers, did not fix the issues...

Any help would be great!

I did but I guess I was typing it in wrong... Still learning the commands and how they go together.

Seems to be working now...
