I'm a kubuntu user and I would like to move to a rolling distro, so I would like to know if there is any plan for a Linux Mint LMDE KDE edition or if installing Linux Mint LMDE is possible to install the kde packages removing the gnome ones maintainig the stability of the distro.
Thank you,

Hi "tdockery97"
I have been wanting to try doing just that myself.
I see in Synaptic (I am tracking Testing on this install).
I see kde-full 5:70 as a "meta-package" of KDE.
Is this all I need to install to add a KDE destop option at log-in?
Thanks!!

I installed kde-standard. That installs pretty much what you get in a normal KDE distro. The full gives you everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink, which was a little bit much for me. And it will give you the option to use either GDM or KDM to manage your login. I went all the way and then uninstalled all the major Gnome packages.
