Hey guys my name is Manvir aka virman123 aka thekernaljustpopped aka and some other names
I like computing and learning new things on my computer. I have two computers one where I mess around with hardware, the OS, etc.. A while back I stumbled on to a new term (OS) called LINUX so I researched and read comments and read and read. Until I got to the point where I am like I should test it out. I first did some virtual runs of ubuntu. THEN i burned a couple of live DVD's with Linux distro's. One day I was googling Linux distro's when I found mint. I youtube LINUX MINT AND watched a couple of videos. As I am very curious I downloaded burned a DVD. And installed it. I was always a windows user because when our family got its first computer I think in 2000. It ran XP. Well that is the computer I am typing on at this moment. It still works because it had got an upgrade due to the motherboard burning out. Now it has amd athlon. 11 YEARS WOW One year ago we bought a new computer which runs win 7 "the family computer" can't mess that computer up. I wanted to move out of the mainstream point and click to something I have full control over. With no boundaries . I want to learn how to operate this smoothly I know it will take a while but it's worth it. I have made a bit of progress since installing it.
I encourage others to do the same: If you find something new, do it.
If you are a newbie like me remember one thing continue learning and doing.
Ok this is what I had to say so CYA hope to see you around.
