First post - so hello everybody
Does anyone know how I can organise the window icons on the task bar?
I like being able to drag and drop them into a certain order.
Cheers,
Matt

Right click on the icon unlock it then move. The system tray icons will not arrange you can only move the whole tray.

Welcome to Linux Mint! And, uh, yeah... Just drag (click & hold) a window icon and drop (release) it on another window icon to have it insert there on the windows list.
BTW this is the same way you rearrange your favorite applications in the mintMenu.

Crikey!
For the last hour or so I've been using what I thought was LMDE RC2.
Nope... I'd downloaded, installed and configured LXDE RC2.
I had been thinking to myself that "something is very odd here - this doesn't seem / act / look like a Debian spin - I've moved the windows tabs around before. What's up with it?".
Ha ha. Oh well. I quite like LXDE - it's very fast.
