Can't change login screen settings

Post by seeley »

Hi!
Because I had problems with Katya, LMDE now is my main operating system.
I installed liquorix kernel:

Code: Select all

seeley@seeley-laptop ~ $ uname -a
Linux seeley-laptop 2.6.39-1.dmz.2-liquorix-amd64 #1 ZEN SMP PREEMPT Fri Jun 10 01:11:24 CDT 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Everything works well except Assistive Technologies:

Log in automatically can't be enabled; when I click to make changes nothing happens.
Any idea?

Hi!
After having customized the file as suggested:
boot time increases 15 seconds and I get the message:

Code: Select all

...unlock Login keyring... Enter pw...
login keyring did not get unlocked wen you logged into your computer
What now?

Hi!
Here: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p ... ng#p447444
I found a hint, but the boot time problem persists.

Just a thought . . is your networking set to connect automatically ? and available to all users ?

Hi!
Yes!
1. Connect automatically (WiFi).
2. Only one user.
