Chromium on LMDE

Post by craig10x »

I was just curious...i haven't been using LMDE for a number of months (may try it again when the re-spin iso comes out)....I recall that the version of Chromium web browser in debian testing was always way behind...they were using versions from about a year behind the current version....

In fact, because of that, when i ran LMDE i downloaded the Google Chrome from their website so i could stay current...

I was wondering if you are getting a pretty up-to-date version of Chromium these days in debian testing...12.0742.112 is the latest version that i have on my Linux Mint 10 install (for comparison)...what version are you up to in LMDE at the current time?
And is it keeping fairly current these days??

Thanks :)

That version of Chromium is in the Testing repository. Someone else may be able to tell you how often updates come through.
