Fix Broken Packages New Install......What?

Post by plowran »

Hi Guys I have had this issue in the past...
http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=141&t=69658
And the fix worked with no problem in the past....
sudo apt-get install -f && sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
I just ran a new install and immediately when trying to update it asked me to fix broken packages just like last time, so I tried this again....
This time when I run it, the Terminal downloads almost 1 gig worth of files and then starts to run them, it gets to one called "imagemagic" and then stalls out saying [END] and its highlighted like I went to copy it with my mouse.
I have tried this 3 times last night with the same outcome, so today I tried it again and let it sit for over an hour while I was out running around for a bit, when I came home it was still stuck on the same thing.
Can anyone help me with this issue?
Thanks
Phil

Hit q and the installation will continue (it's just showing you an important changelog).
