Hi,
I have recently installed LMDE and the new Mint Update Debian. I disabled the Debian testing repository and added the debian.linuxmint.com/latest.
All worked fine. I have just a small question. I searched in the forum but I found nothing.
The question is: Should I disable also the following repositories:
security.debian.org/testing/updates
debian-multimedia.com testing
or maintain them?
Thanks

According to that thread actually the answer is 'no'.IgnatiusReilly wrote:Ok. So the answer is yes

But to be on the safe side the Mint team should probably disable the debian-multimedia repo too and mirror its packages in their latest/incoming repos (or just dump debian-multimedia as a default LMDE repo and use the Debian packages only).
Re: Mint-Update Debian and new repositories
ok, to clarify as things are now you should keeps them;
your sources.list must look like this
as a side note, secipola has a point there, but that doesn't interfere with the way you set your repos atm
your sources.list must look like this
Code: Select all
deb http://packages.linuxmint.com/ debian main upstream import
deb http://debian.linuxmint.com/latest testing main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ testing/updates main contrib non-free
deb http://www.debian-multimedia.org testing main non-free
