Compiz cube rotates, but doesn't actually switch workspaces

Hey all. I have an issue with my workspaces when using Compiz Cubes. I have 4 workspaces, horizontal size 4 in CompizConfig, desktop cube and rotate cube enabled. I can rotate it by CTRL-ALT+left click dragging, but it doesn't actually go into a new workspace; the other 3 sides of the cube are just the same workspace with everything minimized. If I try to maximize from the window list panel, it just shoots to the default side of the cube where everything already is (I have "Show windows from current workspace" checked under those settings"). If I right click on a window and select "Move to Workspace Right," the window disappears from my panel, and I can't ever get to it by attempting to switch workspaces, because it seems as if all 4 sides of my cube are simply the same workspace... What could be wrong here?

It's interesting, I was having a problem today of my windows disappearing when I used Move to Workspace Right. When I attempted to Google for results, I found your post first. I didn't find a post on how to fix it, but while I was looking I found the solution at least in my case. In the CompizConfig Settings Manager, click on General Options then Desktop size. In my case I had the number of desktop set to four. When I set it to one, all my windows that I had "lost" appeared on my main screen. Leaving the Horizontal Size four, now when I use Move to Workspace Right the window moves to the next Virtual desktop. This is what I expected. I hope this helps you.
