currently I am pointed to Linux Mint Debian Incoming repo.
I can't seem to find VLC 1.1.7 on synaptic or software manager. All I can see it VLC 1.1.11
any help will be appreciated.

and... where's the problem? 1.1.11 is newer than 1.1.7; or is there any reason why you want the older v.?
