Hey guys,
running LMDE on my home 24/7 comp/server for awhile now... almost since the first release, but havent been really updating it
couple of days ago did a full update which brokee graphics, which was easilly fixed with ati driver reinstall, but now I seem to be having skype problem. It loads with 100% cpu usage. tried reinstall and loading.. same. tried deleting .skype folder in home. now it loads fine, but hangs when i try to login.
any ideas?

Windows is extremely fast after a fresh install. If you want to make it stay that way: - don't use it.

Can you still boot into the original kernel? you might find Skype works Ok
