Since installing Mint 11 I've noticed that the title bars of windows don't update when they should. For example, Firefox doesn't show the name of the site, and the same applies to other programs. Right now as I type this, the bottom panel says "Linux Mint Forums • Post a new topic - Mozilla Firefox" while the top has said "Mozilla Firefox" since I started it. The updating problem also seems to affect whether the title bar is shown as active or inactive. Active windows will show title bars as if they're inactive, and windows that go inactive keep the active title bar styling.
I noticed that I can get the title bar to update by resizing the window. Minimising it doesn't work, but maximise/restore or resizing the window updates the title to display correctly. But that only fixes it at that moment, and any future changes to the title still don't show up until I do it again.
I realise this is probably a Compiz problem but I'm not sure and I'm still new to Linux. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to fix it? I'm using the ATI fglrx drivers if that helps.
