Installed LMDE-xfce 201109 64 bit. Changed the sources.list to reflect the Update Pack 3 new lines re:http://blog.linuxmint.com/?p=1836 (cut-n-paste). Used the Update Manager to update to Pack 3. Got the following error:
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad_0.10.22-3_amd64.deb: trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/
libgstxvid.so', which is also in package gstreamer0.10-plugins-really-bad 0.10.22-0.1
Re-installed and tried again...exact same results.
Suggestions/Comments?

Isn't that a stinker?
Been waiting patiently for Update3 before I did an update and then it won't install them because of that error. Good Grief!

try with this (after you do the full update and get that error again)
