Clock Shows Wrong Time

Postby scaramanga9 on Thu Sep 29, 2011 9:56 pm

After I installed Linux Mint 11 LXDE, my system clock showed the correct time. When I installed Linux Mint LXDE, I chose the option to get time from the server. Now my computer shows a time 5 hours earlier than the correct time. My time zone is United States Eastern Daylight. How do I change the settings so that my computer shows the correct time? Thank you.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Put sudo time-admin into LXTerminal.

Thanks! This worked after I installed the package gnome-time-admin.
