Re: Problem with interface of some applications
I believe all these applications are gnome version 3.0.* and using gtk+3.
I think the theming issue is solved with Update Pack 3.

Re: A Problem with interface of some applications
From the release notes of UP3
I would be left to assume you are not using the default LMDE theme, or something went wrong.The Linux Mint theme is now compatible with GTK3 and the issue present in Update Pack 2 is solved.
Re: A Problem with interface of some applications
The normal mint theme isnt that bad for gtk3 but are you guys aware that it doesnt look like the gtk2 theme? I personally think it doesnt look good.
(ok after 10 secondes, i know the answer, you sure know how it looks, sorry... next time i will think before posting)
@Regulus74: Default theme is Mint-X

Re: A Problem with interface of some applications
There will inherently be some visual difference between gtk2 and gtk3 app theming.
Re: A Problem with interface of some applications
Maybe the difference in Mint - X is due to difference between gtk2 and gtk3proxima_centauri wrote:There will inherently be some visual difference between gtk2 and gtk3 app theming.
Re: A Problem with interface of some applications
Yes, that's what I meant with my original responding post - the gnome3 apps use gtk+3 so they will look a little different.
