Simple Compiz Manager in LM11 (Katya)

Simple Compiz Manager in LM11 (Katya) seems to be missing - not sure if this is intentional. Anyway, I found it in the repos as "simple-ccsm". However, when I want to install this package, it says that it has to uninstall compiz and all its dependencies! Am I missing something? Is this right?

I've tried this, but get the error that there are unmet dependencies and broken packages... Suggest you stick with the normal CompizConfig Settings Manager.

Checking the dependencies shows the packages should be meeting the requirements

İf you install simple-ccsm to Linux Mint 11, first downgrade compiz to version 0.8.6 .

For downgrade compiz to version 0.8.6 apply this guide

Then downgrade compiz to version 0.8.6 in Linux Mint 11, now you can install simple-ccsm.
But fusion-icon can not run under compiz 0.8.6. Fix this as below.

sudo apt-get purge fusion-icon
wget http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/f/fusion-icon/fusion-icon_0.1.0-2_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i fusion-icon_0.1.0-2_all.deb

Open Update Manager and press refesh, then right click fusion-icon and block this fusion-icon's update.

I am having all sorts of other problems with my graphics ATM. I had to switch to plain metacity, and still I get a few glitches. If/when I get time, I am going to have to Google my video card and see what works or not as the case may be.
