Linux Mint

Hi everybody,
There is a problem with Spotchat: When you try to join the #linuxmint.com
channel, you are redirected to Spotchat.de and you get a warning that 'there is no such channel'.
To access the #linuxmint.com channel, click on Network.
You will see a long list of channels there. Just select #linuxmint.com .

Now you are in. But don't expect to get a quick response or any response at all.
The channel is very quiet.

It works fine from here. You're right though, the channel is very quiet. Hopefully people will get use to open xchat and start being more present in there.

No problem. Under Bea:

Applications->Internet->Xchat-Gnome

and that's it ! Xchat-Gnome was tweaked and preconfigured to automatically log you in the Linux Mint channel on the Spotchat server.

you can close all the dialogs and then type the following commands to connect to the channel:

/server irc.spotchat.org
/join #linuxmint.com
