Unaable to Connect to/Map Mybookworld NAS Drive LM 11

Im having an issue with connecting to my NAS drive in LM 11. In LMDE i have no problems connecting to my network storage drive. no setup needed. Problem is i swithced back to LM 11 and now have no access to my windows network or my NAS drive. Im not to worried if i cant access the other computers on the network more just the NAS. is there a different setup in LMDE for networking? Its very frustrating

I'm using LM13 with MyBookWorld and it connects just fine. Either connect via Menu/Network or a Mount command. I ended up with an fstab entry as I wanted a permanent mount. This is my fstab:

//hp-nas/Public /media/hp-nas cifs auto,credentials=/home/david/.smbpwd.txt,noexec,noperm 0 0
