Using Linux Mint Screen Capture Commercially

Post by Xander314 »

I make tutorials for programming with SFML in C++. This includes YouTube videos with screen capture. I want to advertise on my videos, so I need to find a distribution where I'll be allowed to use screen captures of it commercially.

Does anyone know if I can use screen captures of Linux Mint's GUI, etc commercially? If not, does anyone know who I should ask about this?

Thanks,
Xander

I think you'll need to e-mail root AT linuxmint.com for this. The e-mails on that address are read by Clem, the project leader and founder of Linux Mint.

Thanks. I've sent them an email now. I guess I should've been able to find that address myself... Sorry if I wasted your time
