ok upon launching the update manager i get this message
started happening today, when i checked for updates yesterday i had no errors
Failed to fetch http://www.debian-multimedia.org/dists/ ... ackages.gz 404 Not Found
am running mint9 main 64bit

Is that the Debian Sarge repository ? Why do you need it ?
Source : http://www.debian.org/releases/sarge/. . updates have been discontinued as of the end of March 2008.

ok now that i fixed that one, i have another question, ok i was reading a thread in another section about updating the kernal, if i were to update to the one that shows up in the update manager 2.6.32.34.40, would i need to remove my nvidia driver first?
