As i was browsing the open chat forum i noticed a thread with a Easter egg i never would have found

Other eastereggs: If you are using Gnome, press Alt+F2 and type in "free the fish". A fish will swim on your desktop...Or install the package "sl" and execute it

Open Terminal and type: ddate

To get different responses, type: ddate dd mm yyyy
Example: ddate 12 09 1965

an easter egg for you - Right-click on an open space on the gnome-panel and click on properties.Right-click 3 times on any of the tabs. A cow will fly by waving at you.

You can get the fish by right clicking the gnome panel at bottom select about panel then type "fff" - not in a dialog box just type it while about panel is on screen and hit enter.

Also clicking fish makes it run away but it comes back.

To save ppl from googling killing the fish just alt-f2 and type “pkill gnome-panel”.

sorry to post twice in a row but I saw this one after I posted: its a space invaders game with the cows and the fish - Press ALT+F2, then typs “gegls from outer space”
