Hi
Anybody know of a reliable changer?
I have tried Desktop Drapes Version: 0.4.97 but found it to be unstable.
Any advice much appreciated.

Try wallpaper-tray from the repos. I'm using it with Gnome in Daryna and also in Ubuntu Dapper, works nicely.

yeah, the best I've found so far has been wallpaper-tray and Desktop Drapes. the rest were a bunch of scripts that you had to customize for your operation (although they had the nice perk that they didn't have to be running all the time, and would only run when their timer was up).
