Re: My New Linux Mint LMDE desktop
I guess I tried to tweak Gnome 3 too hard, It exploded, taking GRUB with it I'll play with Gnome 2 as long as I can, maybe by the time it gets to testing it will behave a bit better.
Re: My New Linux Mint LMDE desktop
LMDE KDE.
Xfce- Openbox are my favourites -even in KDE, i prefer simplicity overall. Panel is usually set in auto-hide mode.
Re: My New Linux Mint LMDE desktop
Another Xfce4 desktop. I've got my wobbly windows back too.
Wine works with Directx, so I can even play Zuma.

Re: My New Linux Mint LMDE desktop

Re: My New Linux Mint LMDE desktop
Things to do while doing dist-upgrade after 2 months of internet shadow....
4 different installs, it took ages, so I had to come up with something creative to do. Since the first real snow came the other day why not make a one of a kind hat to keep my hairless head warm
And also my new gnome-shell, I like auto-hide-panel and tint2 behind it.
Thanks to Banksy for the background.
Now all I got to figure out is how to get a Ctrl+Alt+Left/Right and Alt+Tab that I like...
Greetings from a warm skull!

Re: My New Linux Mint LMDE desktop
Nice desktop IKingjr, I've had a hard time finding dark themes for Xfce.
I've tried to simplify mine a little.

Re: My New Linux Mint LMDE desktop
thanks. I like yours as well. you can use any dark gtk2 or gtk3 theme with XFCE. It doesn't have to be specifically made for it. The only thing is you need a few dark window borders for XFCE. the one in my screenshot is actually Carbonit-Colored which takes on whatever color your theme is. I also use Mire v2 quite often. Both are at xfce-look.org.
