I was using the Mint Live CD on a friends Windows machine but I found that their USB keyboard failed to work on the initial option screen, it was only after the allotted seconds ran out and the Live disk automatically booted into Mint that the keyboard then started to work.
This presents a problem because I was planning on setting up a dual boot with Windows and Mint and now Im worried that the keyboard and mouse which are both USB wont work on the OS Selection screen, leaving them unable to choose OS.
Any advice?

Re: USB Keyboard problems before bootup
I seem to have fixed it now by going into the Bios and turning on legacy USB support.
