Has anyone noticed this Zeitgeist Datahub in the startup programs ?
From what I can find out about it , it seems a little like shades of Microsoft and/or Google.
Tracking your every move "to better serve you"
Am I just being too paranoid or is this a little invasive ?
Actually I don't much want anything or anyone tracking what files I open or what I am surfing on the web
or any sort of personal information.... "Zeitgeist is a service which logs the user's activities and events (files opened, websites visited, conversations held with other people, etc.) and makes the relevant information available to other applications.
It serves as a comprehensive activity log and also makes it possible to determine relationships between items based on usage patterns."http://packages.ubuntu.com/maverick/zeitgeist-datahub
