Aborted: Install ClipGrab in 64bits

Postby Arran on Wed Nov 30, 2011 12:01 pm

Hi

I downloaded the file
Code: Select all
clipgrab-3.1.3.0.bz2
from the Homepage onto my Desktop and discompressed it. It is now a file called «clipgrab-3.1.3.0».

What am I supposed to do with it?

Thanks for any Help

Make it executable:
Code: Select all
chmod +x clipgrab.blah.blah
can't remember name ;)

Doesn't want to run on x64, but requires libQtWebKit.so.4:
Code: Select all
./clipgrab-3.1.3.0: error while loading shared libraries: libQtWebKit.so.4: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64

Thanks for the respnse.
So, I can not use it with the 64-Version or only if I instal first your second line?

And whereto do I paste the clipgrap file? I do not want to leave it on my Desktop.

I could not get it to run on 64bit, it didn't like it, so I gave up, think this is for 32bit systems only, hence the ELF error (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executable ... ble_Format).

Copy it where ever you want, /usr/local/bin or /opt/clipgrab or anywhere in your path.

Oh, if it is not working on 64 its OK, I delete it. I still have a 32 Kubuntu (10.10) with this add-on, so I note down what I want to downlaod and do it over Kubuntu.

Thanks for your help.
