What is Caribou ?

Post by tomast »

I tried Google but all I seem to get is a bunch of bizarre references to Coffee ;)
Can someone tell me what Caribou is in Mint 12 ?

I was going thru the startup programs unchecking stuff I don't need, but I have no clue
what it is so I don't know if I need it or not....

Edit:
oops , I thought I was posting this in Software & Applications.

It's an on-screen keyboard so it's fine to disable it if you don't need it.
For some reason, whoever compiled the list of start-up programs declined to describe it.

the onscreen keyboard is not enabled by default (but at least in gnome-shell it works)
