+1 to that one!

In all seriousness, I like the name "Mia". Short, sweet, simple.

Beginning with Mint-13 (and Ubuntu-12.04) the next LTS version -- the "long-term support" versions, of both, will be supported for 5 years.

So the name for Mint-13 has to be 'extra epic' :D

So:-

Mothasuperia
Monsta
Megalomania
Mama
Methadrina
Melifluosa

They could all be girls names...

Ah, the "must end with a" rule keeps us from having a Linux Mint Mildred. Shame.
Thank you for this thread. That’s all I can say. You most definitely have made this forum into something special. You clearly know what you are doing, you’ve covered so many bases. Thanks!

Well, okay, I think the name

Melissa

will suit Linux Mint well.
It's not only a female name, it's also a plant from the Mint family: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melissa_%28plant%29

Core 2 Quad Q9550(2.83GHz), 4 drive Raid 0 (320GBx4/1.28TB), 500GB storage drive, 8GB Kingston Hyper X, 23" LG LED, etc, running ONLY 64-bit Linux Mint. I don't like Microsoft AND Apple because of overpricing and their 'big brother' attitudes.

How about something recursive like just Mint: Mint Intervention Number Thirteen.

Or if you have to have an "a" at the end, Minta: Mint Intervention Number Thirteen - Awesome. This way when you read the full name it would read like this:
Minta LTS: Mint Intervention Number Thirteen - Awesome Long Term Support.

You can find more info here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recursive_acronym
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_are_some ... e_letter_A

If you have other recursive acronyms please share!

I'm going to suggest

Myrna

I used to go out with a Myrna. That was like two million years ago (I taught her WordPerfect :D ) but it's kind of a cool name.

The not too common swedish name
Mynta
(currently carried by 23 persons) would work.
Yes. It's both a female name and it means Mint...

I like this one, too. I have friends with that name, plus it's a classic Mercyful Fate album!
