mint9 main 32bit+3.0.0-12 kernel

Not really a question, just thought someone would find it interesting that i am successfully running mint 9 main 32bit with the 3.0.0-12 kernel on my Acer AOA150 netbook. no problems so far, will report back if i find anything.
However i am not brave enough to attempt a kernel upgrade on my pc still running 2.6.32-21 on the pc

richy does it run any faster after updating to it on your desktop? i know on here even tho its on a slower hdd mint 12 boots up faster than mint 9 lol
mint 9 is installed on a 500GB sata2 hdd mint 12 on an old 200GB PATA 133 hdd lol

Latest backported lts kernel for lucid is 3.0.0-13
huh? my copy of mint 12 is still running 3.0.0-12

Mintupdate doesn't show kernel updates by default, you have to make level 4/5 visible in preferences to see them.
