Hi guys,
what's the differnece between LMDE repository and Debian Testing repository? Does the new software, which shows up in Debian Testing repository, get immediately to LMDE repositories or does it take some time to propagate it?
Thanks!

Re: Difference between LMDE repos and Debian Testing repos
Mint devs actually test the Debian Testing changes in packages and they release upgrade packs (monthly was the intent) once they feel the packages that have changed are stable and will not cause breakages. So you don't get that daily hit of new packages you would get if you ran Debian Testing. It was done in reaction to breakage possibilities, so you have a rolling release that upgrades when the devs feel comfortable allowing it to upgrade based on the stability of Testing's packages.
