Yes, open a terminal copy the code box and use ctrl+shift+v to paste in (or just type!). To copy stuff in a terminal, highlight with mouse and either right click copy or ctrl+shift+c.
:Edit: What the command does is install gnome-alsamixer, then runs it, the && is just a delimiter, use it to string commands together on the command line, they are then run in that order.
