[SOLVED] Activating the "Middle" Mouse Button

Does anyone know how to activate the emulation of the middle mouse button? When I google, all I get is GNOME3's gsettings stuff. :(

I found an answer here: Ubuntu 11.10 – Middle Mouse Button Emulation. Since it's talking about gconf, I assume it's compatible with MATE. Here is how to load the emulator:
Code: Select all
sudo aptitude install gpointing-device-settings

Then run:
Code: Select all
gpointing-device-settings

and click the check box to emulate the middle button. Job done. :)
