repositories ? confused

I see a lot of topics to chance the repositories but is it not you mess up the mint and start whit pure debian ?
Make no sense for me :?:
I stay whit the repositories mint give me because i thing you don't have a mint distro anymore if you chance it a lot .
be careful whit things the tell you sometimes !
ps : i play also and have incoming repositories but it stays mint .

There is no difference between latest and incoming at the moment. Both are frozen since month. If you are happy with your
system, stay as you are :)
