sorry to be such a bore but I checked packages.qa.debian.org and it says that gnome-session 3.2 is in testing sooo.... are we gonna see cinnamon pretty soon? I'm dying to check it out. (No rush though
Well, my guess is that it will take a little while, as the linux mint incoming repos have to sync with testing, and then there are lots of bug fixes to be done, and then it's released. My guess (purely speculation) is that mgse will be included with update pack 4, and cinnamon will be introduced with update pack 5. I have heard that there are many dependency problems with cinnamon on debian (which until extremely recently was for sid), so it might take an update pack for the testing (as well as the desktop) to get there. I don't really know for sure. I'd guess a few weeks min and a month (maybe a month and a half) top. Once cinnamon enters lmde, I'm gonna switch all of my computers onto various lmde versions. So I can't wait either (although I am able to test it on mint 12).
