I didn't see my former employer mentioned. Somehow, I don't miss working for General Atomics, Aeronautical Systems (home of the Predator)

They r[au]n Windows on every Ground Control Station and I know that Network Security there is not aggressive.
However, the GCSs BIOS/ROM/RAM and OS were controlled by a non-IT group with an unknown IQ.
I had 1 new user ("Program Manager") after one day on the job called IT and said "all of your programs don't work, but mine still do"
He had installed John the Ripper on a system he had Admin rights on.

I think the possibility of a drone making a port turn into someones house a little more than a "nuisance", although it didn't happen, yet, messing with the aircraft navigational computer isn't a good thing even when you have a living thinking pilot at the controls.

Although security has gotten better on bases, Bases were getting hit hard. I still can remember opening a new box of floppies, putting one in the computer to format and the antivirus software locking the whole floppy because a virus was already on it. Was so bad that I was afraid to even buy software and any storage media from the base PX for my PC at home.

A little program I use on my win7 partition in conjunction with my antivirus software is " No Autorun" http://sourceforge.net/projects/noautorun/
