I tried to install ffmpeg in lmde. dcnet-common was installed as a dependency.
But at the end of the installation, synaptic gives a message error.
dnet-common
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
I've been searching in forums and google and I decided to unistall ffmpeg and dependencies: dnet-common, libavdevice53, libdnet, libroar-compat1, libroar1. I couldn't uninstall the dnet-common config files. I restarted the computer, and everything works ok and quick, as always in lmde. But I can't unistall dnt-common config files. I allways get the message:
dnet-common
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
How I can unistall dnet-common?
How I can install ffmpeg?

Re: dnet-common error installing ffmpeg
I deleted dnet-common.list an dnet-common.postrm in folder /var/lib/dpkg/info. Then, using synaptic I could unistall residual config of dnet-common. But I don't know how to install ffmpeg in lmde. Can anybody help me?
Re: dnet-common error installing ffmpeg
Where is the problem with ffmpeg now? If you install it and dnet-common comes with it as dependency don't configure
it and delete the package. Install gtkorphan and it will find unneeded dependencies for you after you removed something.
