desktop nova isnt working properly

i downloaded a wallpaper changer called desktop nova and it says my d-bus failed to connect and desktop daemon failed to start.... please help me as i really want my wallpaper to change like windows 7 does.... when i start my desktop nova daemon it does not work at all... is this because my video graphics card is not supported yet?

I am not on my Mint box (uses Nova) right now but if memory serves there is a module (matched to you desktop environment) you need to download and install as well as the basic changer and tray programs. Good Luck

I am using Mint Debian with XFCE and have Wally working for me.

When you installed desktopnova you had a choice in Synaptic: desktopnova-module-gnome or desktopnova-module-xfce. Could it be you chose wrong? One will not work with the other.
