Problem: connecting HDMI cable Samsung LCD TV with Mint 12

Postby aziz on Fri Dec 23, 2011 4:18 pm

Hello to all guys!

I have a big problem!

I recently installed Linux Mint 12 on my Compaq notebook with this graphics: GeForce G 103M/PCI/SSE2

I tried to fix it from NVIDIA X Server Setting, but there was no any setting, or at least, I did not know, how to use it.

I see this in NVIDIA X Server Setting:

Please help me, I am confused..

When I connect it to the tv, it says NO SIGNAL.

Please help me brothers..

all of my attempts to fix it failed finally..

I am waiting for reply.. goodbye

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

I wish I could - I was connected with an RGB monitor cable - worked well, could set the TV as the main monitor (though the delay makes the mouse feel a bit sluggish sometimes)... I picked up a 10 metre HDMI cable to free myself up, and can't get it to work...
