I know that Vince but what I am saying is this:
You're missing the point.
If you were to go to a commercial site wishing you to promote their free service, they would probably have a range of Company logos, and possibly some HTML script, specifically sized, and set up, and made available for any person offering to promote their service through a non affiliated web site - gratis.
eg. Free Web Submissions is a good case in point.
http://freewebsubmission.com/They have a section specifically set up for web masters - "Web master resources". They also have a wide range of logos suitable for discrete addition to web pages as per the example on my web page.
The list of logo's is able to be easily viewed after you submit a web page, as a follow up ask for their service.
The basic header logo pointed at by the previous poster is not what a web developer would be necessarily looking for.
So how about following the example of the site above and have a set of logo's and maybe HTML available in a similar web resource section? It doesn't have to be huge, just a few specifically tailored and approved examples.
If I rocked the boat, it's only because maybe a good shake would get people thinking outside of the existing box.
I would like to see Linux Mint get promoted- and it is not difficult if you approach it in a similar manner to any other commercial entity.
