Stickly Facebook Linux Mint group?
I have posted this announcement before but I was wondering if it is already or if it could be stickied somewhere that there is such a thing as a Linux Mint facebook group? We are already 57 members strong .

Re: Stickly Facebook Linux Mint group?
I didn't know we had a Facebook group!
Do you have a link? The search seems to be down.
Edit: Nevermind, search came back up, here's the link:

Personally I keep miles away from such - maybe not watching but "feeding"I gave Facebook a rest
Re: Stickly Facebook Linux Mint group?
I only make use of facebook so I can clear all of the Application invites I get from my peers. I don't even get along with the most of them, I'm merely forced to join in with them on everything.

Facebook has done a lot recently to stop this, its a lot harder for apps to force you to spam friends amongst other things. I'm glad to say that I dont get any application requests anymore.Ookami wrote:I only make use of facebook so I can clear all of the Application invites I get from my peers.
Anyways, I joined the group. I also just joined the Xubuntu group, but Mint has more members than them! Go Mint.

when your chatting in your facebook messenger box... does the time stamp look like

Re: Stickly Facebook Linux Mint group?
I heard the most awesome quote to describe the difference - course I can't find it now.
In anycase, myspace is more about "me" my music my interests, whatever "me"
facebook is more about connections - friends, friends of friends, facebook started various games and apps to occupy your time (and keep you on fb) while you can see what's new in your own neighborhood.
IMO - facebook = social.
