unknown open collaboration service API error

Hello, when trying to download new widgets using Plasma Desktop Shell Add-On Installer I get the unknown open collaboration services API error every time I open it. I did a search here and on Google and didn't pull up much if any useful information. Does anyone know how I might fix this and is there another way to download new widgets? I'm running Linux Mint 12 KDE 4.8

Hi. I too am having this very same problem. I know it worked within the last couple days. This was the top result in my google search. Interesting that we've both had this on the same day near the same time.
I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 with KDE ... also have XFCE and E17 installed.

I just now noticed, while looking other stuff up, that kde-apps.org appears to be down. Other research I've done appears to come to the conclusion that it's a server-end issue.
So there's that.
Hopefully back up tomorrow. =]

*Edit* Well still not working today but I am able to connect to http://kde-apps.org/ so I guess this isn't it. Anyone know what might be causing this?

It's back up for me after I re-booted today. I did nothing but reboot, which I had tried before .. so it musta been server-size.

Its now the 24th and I am still having this problem! ... I know Mint just released the new but confused!
